SUPPORT

Getting help with Onvoro.

If you use the Onvoro app for work, the business you work for set up your account and runs your sites and roster, so they are usually the quickest people to ask. You can also email us directly at hello@onvoro.io.

Who to ask.

Where to start depends on how you use Onvoro.

You work for a business that uses Onvoro

Start with your employer. They added you, and they manage your account, the sites you work at and your roster. A wrong email address, a missing shift or a site you cannot see can only be fixed on their side.

You run a business on Onvoro

Email us with the name of your business, the address you sign in with and what you were trying to do. A screenshot helps.

Anybody can contact us

Including a worker whose employer cannot help. We will never ask for your password or a sign-in code, so please do not send either.

Signing in on the phone.

There is no sign-up in the app. Your employer adds you, and you sign in with the email address they used.

How do I sign in?
Open the app, enter your work email and tap Email me a code. We send a six-digit code to that address; type it in and you are signed in. You stay signed in on that phone, so you only do this again on a new phone, after reinstalling, or after a long time away.
I have a password. Where do I use it?
Tap I have a password, just below Email me a code, and sign in with your email address and password. If you have forgotten it, tap Forgot your password? and we send a reset link that opens in your browser. You can sign in with a code in the meantime.
My code has not arrived.
A code is only sent to an address your employer has already added, so first ask them to check the address they have for you, spelling included. Then look in your junk or spam folder. An account that was set up and never used stops working after 30 days, and your employer can turn it back on.
My code does not work.
A code expires after ten minutes and can be tried three times. After that, tap Send another code and use the newest one that arrives.
Can I create an account in the app?
No. Your employer adds you to Onvoro, and that is what lets your address receive a code. If you run a business and want to try Onvoro, you can start a trial on the website.

Location and notifications.

Why does the app ask for my location?
So your employer can confirm you were on site. The app records where you are when you sign in to a shift and when you sign out, and at no other time. It never tracks you between those two moments, and it does not use your location in the background.
What happens if I do not allow it?
You can still sign in to your shift. The app asks you to say why your location is missing, and your employer sees that reason beside your sign-in. To turn location on later, find Onvoro in your phone’s Settings.
How do I change what I am notified about?
Open Profile, then What you hear about. Each kind of alert can be set to Off, Exceptions or All, and you can choose whether it is pushed to your phone, emailed to you, or both. Turning something down never loses it: it still appears under Alerts.
I am not getting any notifications.
Check that notifications are allowed for Onvoro in your phone’s Settings. If they are turned off, the app cannot send you anything, and the What you hear about screen says so.

Deleting your account.

You can delete your Onvoro login yourself, from the app. The business you worked for keeps the record of the work you did, because the law requires it to.

How do I delete my account?
In the app, open Profile, then Sign-in and security, and tap Delete account at the bottom. If you cannot get into the app, email hello@onvoro.io from the address you sign in with and ask us to delete it.
What is removed?
Your login and every session signed in with it, the phones registered to receive your notifications, your alerts, and the photo of yourself you put up.
What does my employer keep?
Your employment record: your name, your contact details, your shifts, your attendance, your timesheets and your pay history. Australian workplace law requires employers to keep those records for seven years, so deleting your login does not delete them. Your date of birth, home address and emergency contact are on that record too, and the business can change or remove them for you.
Where can I read more?
The privacy policy explains what Onvoro holds, why, how long it is kept, and how to ask for access, a correction or a deletion.

Deleting your login does not end your employment. If you are leaving the business you work for, tell them as well.
